Monetization
Monetization is one of the real reasons that you fave or are thinking about building your web site. It is the methods that you will use to grow and earn your income. Once you have added enough content to your site you begin to establish yourself as an expert on your niche's subject. Now is the time to benefit from your traffic or visitors. You want to offer or sell them something related to your niche. They have shown extensive interest. This is where your credibility and your your knowledge can recommend items to your visitors that they will be interested in. When they buy, it is known as monetization!
Monetization from Internet Affiliate Programs
One of the easiest ways to earn income or accomplish monetization from the internet is through an affiliate program. Affiliate programs allow you to partner with many companies which in turn gives you the ability to promote that companies products or services on your own site. Any sales from your site will generate a commission to you, the website owner, making this a win-win situation. Some of the more lucrative programs are two-tier meaning that you will also earn a commission from the sale of products or services that are sold by others on other sites because you were the one who referred them to the affiliate program in the first place, (if that were the case). Sort of a finders fee if you will.
There are several business models being used. One in particular uses special software whereby the ultimate purchaser does not know that they are not buying from your site. To that person, your site is where they turn to for their future needs on your niche. I feel the nicest part of joining an affiliate program(s) is the fact that you as the business owner have no warehousing, no inventory, and no shipping to worry about.
A good example of an affiliate program can be seen in your own daily use of the internet. You venture onto a website to view a topic and off in the margin is an advertisement for something that is usually related to what you were searching for, (but does not have to be). If you click on that ad and proceed to a new site, the owner of the site you just left could earn a commission from whatever you do on that second site. The first site you visited was affiliated with the second site you were taken to by your clicking away. Just click on

Network Marketing Programs
Network marketing means different things to different people. At it's core, it represents direct sales to the end user usually by word of mouth. Unfortunately a lot of people use the term network marketing interchangeably with multilevel marketing which is not totally accurate. This probably came about because many network marketing companies employ a payment structure that rewards you for your efforts and the efforts of those people that you have recruited into the business.
As such the network marketing company is also a multilevel marketing company. As long as the company is paying you for products and or services that were actually sold by you or one of your recruits, then all is well. Think monetization
However if you were to be paid a commission from money received primarily from sign-up fees of new recruits, then there is a good chance that it is illegal. This would be nothing more than a poorly disguised pyramid scheme. So be sure to exercise caution.
The Network Marketing business model allows you to remain independent which is a big plus for people wanting to leave the corporate rat race. Many of the business “pieces of the puzzle” are already worked out for you ( a plus) without you having to pay high start up fees that are common with a franchise business model (a minus).
You will spend most of your time building your customer base, recruiting new workers, and helping to build the customer base of these additional workers. This all translates to excellent use of your time known as leverage. Ray Kroc knew how powerful leverage can be. He used it to grow McDonald's into what is now the largest restaurant company in the world with almost 32,000 locations!
